Martin County and Dwyer squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Martin County had to settle for second. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Martin County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Frankie Brancaleone, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Martin County's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Dwyer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Martin County nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
