West extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jessica Thomas. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 victory over the East Bakersfield Blades on Monday for which the team can thank Thomas, who had 34 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game.

West was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-11, 25-16.

Several Blades players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaylie Demison, who had 34 digs and three aces. Demison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Roxanna Ramirez, who had 17 digs and two aces.

West's win bumped their record up to 17-10-1. As for East Bakersfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9-1.

West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against North on the 22nd. As for East Bakersfield, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Del Oro on the 22nd.
