Baseball Recap: Blackstone-Millville Takes a Loss

Blackstone-Millville managed to slip by Sutton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers lost 12-1 to the Sammies/Suzies on Monday. The loss leaves the Chargers still looking for their first win of the season.

Blackstone-Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sutton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Blackstone-Millville will head out to square off against Hopedale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sutton, they will face off against Douglas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13 runs per game on average), something the Sammies/Suzies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
