Basketball Recap: Van Buren Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clearwater last Thursday, Van Buren came back down to earth. The Van Buren Bulldogs were outmatched by the Neelyville Tigers and fell 84-45. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Van Buren dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Neelyville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van Buren and Naylor will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Neelyville, they will head out on the road to face off against Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
