Cassidy Witt Game Report: vs Fairview

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Saturday as Cassidy Witt came into the contest on a mission. She wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her 15th straight with two or fewer walks.

Witt's strong effort led Cross Lanes Christian over Fairview and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
