Volleyball Game Preview: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Box Elder Bees

Fremont is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will challenge the Box Elder Bees at 6:30 p.m.

Fremont is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight matches dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Mountain Ridge, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Box Elder gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bear River. The victory continues a trend for the Bees in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Box Elder took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-10.

Fremont couldn't quite get it done against Box Elder in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Silverwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
