Jesuit faced Forest Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 7-3. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Jesuit and bumps their season record up to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Forest Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Jesuit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against McMinnville on the 9th. Forest Grove has also already played their next match (against Central Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
