Basketball Recap: Orchard Park Extends Winning Streak to Three

Orchard Park strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Depew Wildcats by a score of 56-43.

Orchard Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Hernandez led the charge by shooting 50% from the field en route to 16 points along with six boards and five assists. That's the most points Hernandez has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Brown, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 14 points.

Orchard Park's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orchard Park will face off against Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Depew, they will welcome Nichols at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
