Basketball Recap: Christ the King Skates Past Bradford Prep with Ease

Christ the King won the last time they faced Bradford Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Christ the King Crusaders took their game with ease, bagging a 59-15 victory over the Bradford Prep Bears. That 44 point margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

Christ the King's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rosie Gorman led the charge by putting up 16 points and five rebounds. Gorman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Gorman, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

The win made it two in a row for Christ the King and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Bradford Prep, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ the King will challenge Corvian Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradford Prep, they will face off against Community School of Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradford Prep is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
