The Somers Tuskers will take on the Cornwall Central Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Somers comes in on 25 and Cornwall Central on ten.

Somers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Averill Park 29-8. Considering the Tuskers have won eight matches by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cornwall Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vestal only rushed for 34.

Cornwall Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Somers, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Everything went Somers' way against Cornwall Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2016, as Somers made off with a 28-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Somers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
