Baseball Recap: Dublin Coffman Takes a Loss

Dublin Coffman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olentangy Orange Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-1 defeat back in April.

Danny Briggs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Gavin Schimming was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Dublin Coffman's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Olentangy Orange, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Dublin Coffman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Hilliard Davidson on the 7th. As for Olentangy Orange, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-0 victory against Upper Arlington on the 7th.
