Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oskaloosa). They strolled past the Valley Falls Dragons with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-41. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Valley Falls' loss came despite strong showings from Chloe Cox and Cali DeLong. Cox went 6-for-14 to rack up 16 points, while DeLong went 6-for-14 en route to 18 points. Those 18 points gave DeLong a new career-high.

Oskaloosa's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Valley Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

Looking ahead, Oskaloosa will head out on the road to take on Troy on Tuesday. As for Valley Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry-Lecompton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
