Davis extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 18-6 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Farmington Phoenix. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-5 on Monday.

Owen Talbot was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Jaxon Marble was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

As for Farmington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

On Farmington's side, Josh Hecht spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits.

Davis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Phoenix: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
