Palmer took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Wasilla, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Moose sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Warriors on Friday. The Moose were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Moose were just returning the favor.
Khloe Ivey paced Palmer's offense, picking up five kills. Ivey got some help from Samantha Thomas and her eight assists.
Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Coming up, Palmer will host Colony at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wasilla, they will head out on the road to face off against Chugiak at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
