Softball Recap: Pieper's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Smithson Valley, Pieper was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Boerne-Champion Chargers by a score of 12-8. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Pieper's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Boerne-Champion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Pieper will face off against Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boerne-Champion, they will challenge New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Braunfels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Boerne-Champion's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
