Basketball Game Preview: Woodward-Granger Hawks vs. Pleasantville Trojans

Woodward-Granger and Pleasantville are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Woodward-Granger Hawks will welcome the Pleasantville Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodward-Granger is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering North Mahaska just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a blow against the Warhawks, falling 66-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since December 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pleasantville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Van Meter and fell 49-13. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodward-Granger's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Pleasantville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
