Basketball Game Preview: St. Augustine Saints vs. Sage Creek Bobcats

The St. Augustine Saints will challenge the Sage Creek Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Augustine will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

St. Augustine is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 69-48 margin over El Camino.

San Diego typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Sage Creek proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Cavers by a score of 61-53. 61 seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Sage Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. St. Augustine pushed their record up to 16-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

St. Augustine came up short against Sage Creek in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-53. Can St. Augustine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
