Soccer Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oxbridge Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the King's Academy Lions on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The ThunderWolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Oxbridge Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-8-5. As for King's Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3-2.

Oxbridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King's Academy, they will square off against Benjamin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Benjamin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
