Volleyball Recap: Manual Has No Trouble Against Kennedy

Manual not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th. Everything went their way against the Kennedy Commanders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbolts: when they faced off against the Commanders last Thursday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

Manual had a senior duo take command as Danny Flores had 18 digs and Abraham Munoz had 14 assists and three aces. Flores is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.

The win snapped Manual's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-9 record. As for Kennedy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Coming up, Manual will face off against DSST: Cedar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Denver West at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
