Basketball Recap: Henrietta Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Henrietta entered their game against Bowie on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Henrietta Bearcats took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowie Jackrabbits. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rayder Mann out in front who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Bradly Horton, who posted 13 points.

Henrietta's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-9. As for Bowie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Iowa Park the next time they take the court. Henrietta will host Iowa Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bowie will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
