Sophia Mook was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Wetterquist, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.
Timothy Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, St. Edward was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 24-1 to Montini Catholic. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.
