Bearden won the last time they faced Lafayette County and things went their way on Friday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Cougars. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Bearden's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lafayette County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
