Baseball Recap: Harrah Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moore, Harrah was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chickasha Fighting Chicks a 1-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Fighting Chicks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Bryson Clifford's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Harrah is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Harrah saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Freeman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Harrah's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Chickasha, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Harrah will have a chance to go back-to-back against Chickasha: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
