Baseball Game Preview: Richmond-Burton Rockets vs. Plano Reapers

For the second straight game, Richmond-Burton will face off against Plano. The Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Reapers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Richmond-Burton took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Plano, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets skirted past the Reapers 5-3.

For Plano's part, Amari Bryant was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Plano and nudges their season record down to 7-17. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Richmond-Burton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
