Harriton hadn't done well against Strath Haven recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Rams put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Harriton never let Strath Haven on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 27-25.

Sara Ramirez paced Harriton's offense, picking up 17 kills. Ramirez got some help from Mila Ritchie and her 31 assists. Ramirez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Harriton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Strath Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Harriton will head out to square off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Strath Haven, they will venture away from home to challenge Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
