Bishop Carroll piles up the points against West

The Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They breezed by West on the road to the tune of 70-5. Given Bishop Carroll's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while West is ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bishop Carroll pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Bishop Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Junction City/St. Xavier on Saturday. As for West, they will play host again and welcome Ruskin, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
