The Red Devils fell just short of the Seymour Owls by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jeffersonville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Seymour, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Jeffersonville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 loss against Bloomington South on the 17th. As for Seymour, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Bedford North Lawrence on the 20th.
