Basketball Recap: Sibley East Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Sibley East Wolverines were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to the Waseca Bluejays.

Sibley East's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Waseca, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-19 record this season.

Sibley East will head out on the road to challenge Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waseca, they will host Jackson County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
