Basketball Recap: Pawnee Heights Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Pawnee Heights had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the South Gray Rebels, falling 79-41. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 76-22 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Looking ahead, Pawnee Heights will take on Quinter in a tournament on Tuesday. As for South Gray, they will square off against Macksville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
