Football Recap: Milton's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Milton was riding high fresh off their 28-6 takedown of Oregon last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Hawks fell 36-29 to the Monona Grove Silver Eagles on Friday. The loss was the Red Hawks' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Milton fell to 4-1. As for Monona Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milton will take on rival Fort Atkinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Monona Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Sun Prairie East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
