South Gwinnett waltzed into their game on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They put the hurt on the Heritage Patriots with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering South Gwinnett have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Heritage from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lauren Ward led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

South Gwinnett pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, South Gwinnett will be playing at home against Grayson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to square off against Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
