Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kylie Sherrill and Addison Thompson Lead Higley to Victory

Higley won the last time they faced Arizona College Prep and things went their way on Friday too. Higley came out on top against Arizona College Prep by a score of 2-0.

While Higley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17.

Leading Higley to victory were Addison Thompson and Kylie Sherrill. Thompson had 17 digs and two assists, while Sherrill had 12 assists and two aces. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Higley now has a winning record of 11-10-2. As for Arizona College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Higley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Canyon View on the 4th. As for Arizona College Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Shadow Ridge on the 3rd.
