Softball Recap: Fannin County Rebels vs. Brantley County Herons

Fannin County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Brantley County Herons 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Rebels who have now won three matches in a row.

Natalie Herendon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Callie Ensley was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Myla Rogers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
