It was a good run, but Winslow unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Lincoln Academy Eagles, falling 72-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Black Raiders have suffered since February 17, 2024.

Winslow's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lincoln Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Winslow will venture away from home to face off against Oceanside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Academy, they will face off against Spruce Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Spruce Mountain likes a good challenge.
