Basketball Recap: Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Comes Up Short

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles, falling 48-17. The match marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crisp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Sherwood Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Southland Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th.
