Soccer Recap: Memphis Rise Academy Takes a Loss

Memphis Rise Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Memphis Central Warriors.

Memphis Rise Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Memphis Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memphis Rise Academy will face off against Memphis Business Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Memphis Rise Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Memphis Central, they will square off against Cordova at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
