Selma has gone a perfect 10-0 against Central Valley Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Selma is taking a road trip to challenge Central Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Selma turned things around against Golden West on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Trailblazers.

Audreena Duron was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Natalie Calixtro, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian made easy work of Kings Christian on Thursday and carried off a 16-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Cavaliers have won by exactly 15 runs.

The win made it two in a row for Central Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.5 runs over those games. As for Selma, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Selma took their victory against Central Valley Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2020 by a conclusive 19-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Selma since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
