Football Recap: Ferndale's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Ferndale extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Prescott Langer. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 58-0 win over the Eureka Loggers thanks in part to Langer, who rushed for 175 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 9 rushing touchdowns on the season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Pidgeon, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards.

Ferndale's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Ethan Weitzel with two sacks. Another thorn in Eureka's side was Liam Bishop, who made four total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Ferndale's record now sits at 4-0. As for Eureka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ferndale will head out to face off against Hoopa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Eureka, they will challenge St. Bernard's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
