Valliant came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wright City Lumberjax, falling 52-31. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lumberjax this season, with their most recent loss being a 66-42 defeat back in January.

Wright City was led to victory by Braileigh Threadgill and Mia Reich. Threadgill dropped a double-double with 15 points and 16 boards, while Reich went 6 for 10 en route to 17 points and six rebounds. Threadgill is becoming a predictor of Wright City's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 4-2 (and 9-10 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of McKenlie Miller, who posted seven points and three steals.

Valliant's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Wright City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.
