Mt. Mansfield barely beat Champlain Valley Union the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Redhawks on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won three contests in a row.

Mt. Mansfield never let Champlain Valley Union on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-23.

Mt. Mansfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Champlain Valley Union, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Mansfield will face off against Burlington at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Champlain Valley Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
