Basketball Game Preview: Alexandria City Titans vs. South County Stallions

Alexandria City and South County are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Alexandria City Titans will be playing at home against the South County Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexandria City is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Alexandria City had strong showings from Kyheim Johnson, who went 7 of 17 en route to 19 points along with five boards and three steals, and Tarik Sesay, who went 6 for 10 to rack up 15 points and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, Sesay now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Trey Kelley, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, South County suffered their closest defeat since January 17, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Robinson by a score of 45-43.

Alexandria City's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for South County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Alexandria City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against South County in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 73-68 victory.
