Basketball Game Preview: Hill-McCloy Rams vs. Durand Railroaders

Hill-McCloy is 1-9 against Durand since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hill-McCloy Rams will take on the Durand Railroaders at 7:00 p.m.

Hill-McCloy is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They fell 60-53 to Clio. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 15-11 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Durand came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Falcons 81-46. The Railroaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Hill-McCloy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Durand, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Hill-McCloy might still be hurting after the 73-48 loss they got from Durand when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Hill-McCloy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
