Basketball Game Preview: Gilmer County Titans vs. South Harrison Hawks

Having just played yesterday, the Gilmer County Titans will head out on the road to face off against the South Harrison Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gilmer County will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Webster County, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Gilmer County walked away with a 54-47 win over Webster County on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Meanwhile, South Harrison blew past Calhoun, posting a 66-28 victory. The contest marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

Gilmer County's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for South Harrison, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Gilmer County came up short against South Harrison in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 71-67. Can Gilmer County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
