Volleyball Recap: Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Takes a Loss

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy and St. Thomas More squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

St. Thomas More was led to victory by Clare Thomson and Audrey Wheeler. Thomson had 13 assists and three aces, while Wheeler had 17 assists and seven digs. Wheeler is also on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last six games she's played.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 25-14. As for St. Thomas More, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 40-6.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas More, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Lafourche on the 14th.
