Baseball Recap: Canyon Comanches vs. La Habra Highlanders
Canyon had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 18-9 to make it four. They fell just short of the La Habra Highlanders by a score of 5-3. The Comanches were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
Kyle Nulph and Jonathan Sandoval stepped up to the plate in a big way. Nulph went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Sandoval went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Camden Goetz also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
