Basketball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mississippi School for the Deaf last Thursday, Stringer came back down to earth. The Stringer Red Devils took a blow against the Piney Woods Tornadoes on Friday, falling 51-13. The match marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stringer dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Piney Woods, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Piney Woods beat Stringer by a score of 70-21 on Monday.
