Baseball Preview: Langtree Charter Academy Lions vs. North Mecklenburg Vikings
The Langtree Charter Academy Lions will venture away from home to square off against the North Mecklenburg Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Lions fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Central Academy on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
