Basketball Game Preview: Larned Indians vs. Scott Beavers

The Larned Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scott Beavers on Tuesday.

Larned is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since February 6, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 58-29 loss at the hands of Hesston. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Swathers are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Scott blew past Ulysses, posting a 54-19 victory. The Beavers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Larned has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Scott, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
