Baseball Game Preview: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Oakdale Eagles

The Harriman Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Oakdale Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harriman is looking for their season's first win.

Harriman fell victim to Roane County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Yellowjackets.

Harriman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Knobloch, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was Knobloch's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Oakdale came up short against Oliver Springs on Friday, falling 12-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keegan Butler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Harriman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Oakdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Harriman couldn't quite get it done against Oakdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can Harriman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
