Basketball Recap: Noah Sevy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Grandview over Smoky Hill

Grandview lost against Smoky Hill two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grandview Wolves received a blow as they fell 67-52 to the Smoky Hill Buffaloes.

Grandview's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Sevy, who posted seven points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals. Trevor Thomas was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Smoky Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

Grandview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 78-64 defeat against Overland on the 22nd. As for Smoky Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-52 loss against Eaglecrest on the 22nd.
